Patek philippe celebrates 30 years of the annual calendar

Patek Philippe is marking three decades of its ingenious Annual Calendar complication with a stylish new release. Introduced in 1996, the patented Annual Calendar movement requires only a single correction each year, on March 1, to account for the irregular 31-day months. The rest of the time, the watch keeps impeccable time, needing no further adjustments. This ingenious innovation is paired with a stunningly accurate moon phase display that only deviates from the true lunar cycle once every 122 years.

30 Years of timeless elegance

To commemorate this milestone, Patek Philippe has unveiled a 38.5mm Reference 5396 in rose gold with a captivating sand-beige sunburst dial, featuring faceted obus-style markers and faceted dauphine hands. This latest iteration is inspired by the classic design of the Calatrava Reference 96, ensuring a beautifully understated look that will age as gracefully as the watch itself.
