February kicked things off with a bang – or perhaps a brawl – courtesy of The Wrecking Crew. Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa, predictably, deliver a suitably chaotic performance as estranged brothers embroiled in a ludicrous war with the Yakuza in Hawaii. Boots Riley’s latest, I Love Boosters, is an assault on the senses – and potentially, the sensibilities of the ultra-wealthy. The film pits a crew of professional thieves against a ruthless fashion mogul, Demi Moore, in a visually arresting, anticapitalist satire.
