Jennifer Lawrence Unwinds at Dior Spa Cipriani for Strength Training Recovery
Jennifer Lawrence traded her red-carpet glamour for embroidered memory-foam slippers and sweatpants as she relaxed at the newly opened Dior Spa Cipriani in Venice, A Belmond Hotel. Following a demanding shoot for Martin Scorsese’s What Happens at Night with Leonardo DiCaprio in Brooklyn, Lawrence is prioritizing strength training and incorporating yoga into her routine.
Seeking Structure and Relaxation
“I’ve been trying to work out more because when I’m working, I don’t put that pressure on myself,” she explained. “Yoga is my new class of choice because if I have a trainer, I’ll just manipulate them and end up talking the whole time. Lay on my back and be like, ‘So what was your childhood like?’”
Lawrence admitted to a surprisingly candid conversation with the interviewer, playfully calling her “moneybags” for suggesting discarding a moldy humidifier instead of cleaning it with vinegar. She also shared a moment of falling asleep during a massage, apologizing for snoring.

Spa Experience and Preferences
The actress spent nearly five and a half hours at the spa, enjoying a multi-step facial and a lengthy lymphatic drainage massage to combat travel-related puffiness. She’s a Dior fashion and beauty ambassador, having previously experienced Dior’s New York spa beds. Lawrence revealed a surprising aversion to salon treatments, citing hair coloring and nail appointments as “really, really boring.”
“I hate getting my hair colored. I also hate going to the nail salon. I saw a tweet that was like, ‘It’s like going to the hand dentist.’ It’s not relaxing. It’s not fun. It’s really, really boring. It takes so long.”
