Chappell Roan delivered a standout performance at the inaugural Daisy Chain Fields Festival last night, channeling the iconic flight attendants of The Fifth Element with a striking lilac crop top, mini-shirt, and patent go-go boots.

A Retro-Futuristic Transformation

The look, styled by Genesis Webb and brought to life by Michael Schmidt Studios’ recreation of Jean Paul Gaultier costumes, featured a deep copper red bob topped with a lavender pillbox hat adorned with wings. Hairstylist Virginie Pineda styled the bob sleek and straight with mussed bangs.

Makeup and Accessories

Dee Carrion created Roan’s makeup, pairing the lilac theme with soft purple blush, spiky lashes, and a deep burgundy lip. The bob itself was a focal point, bouncing and shifting with the music during performances like “HOT TO GO!” and “Pink Pony Club.”

Roan’s embrace of the bob is a recurring theme in her artistry, harking back to her initial experimentation with the style at The Moment premiere in January, alongside a mint leather nurse-like dress. She has also sported a fluffy bob at Paris Fashion Week, paired with a gothic gradient eye and a maroon lip.
